Off leash, with a view of the river valley, and the Whitemud Equine Learning Centre, plenty of opportunity to socialize your dog, mingle with other dog owners, enjoy the fresh air, and clean area that is safe for your dog to run around in.
We have an energetic young puppy, and a small yard, so we have to take her out off leash to get the wiggles out, and this dog park is perfect for her to run around and enjoy the freedom of space near where we live.
This is the perfect park, with several sections, treed, grass, tall grass, and extensive trails for longer walks. As soon as we pulled up to park, our girl got so excited because she knows exactly where we are, and that she gets to run free with all the other dogs. (Rocky, the Frenchie, is her best bud)
Though we frequent other parks, and love the majority of them, this one is an easy choice for several reasons; it’s easy to get to, loads of parking, and there is little chance of ending up with a mucky pup when weather strikes as there isn’t any standing water to get into. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching dogs jump in creeks and ponds, but I don’t like being the one to have to clean up, or be the super unpopular dog-bather for that matter.
Bring your dog treats, and a ball, or watch the dogs run madly through peoples legs, our pups favourite seems to be finding the only dog free people in the park and running under their legs, eliciting shrieks of excitement (or terror) she really doesn’t care- probably a side-effect of being cute.
She clearly loves it.
We will be coming back often with our puppy so she can tucker herself out and not run wild at home.Live life to the fullest at Belgravia Square.
